It didn't go unnoticed that you're asking silly questions that don't deserve answers.

On the contrary, the question is relevant but you refuse to answer it because you know very well that you've painted yourself into a corner.

Although the action of constricting does kill its prey, death usually comes from asphyxiation by restricting breathing, not crushing as many believe.

My words were “The Python is a constriction killer, it grabs it’s prey and wraps it’s body around and squeezes it to death”

I did not at any time say that the Python “ crushes “ it’s prey

Amazing that not a single person in that group had a cigarette lighter. One touch of flame to that snake's body and it would have uncoiled itself so fast the dog would have landed on top of a tree. Then the group could sit around, light up a joint and tell stories about how brave they were in rescuing the dog.

No, you didn't specifically state how the prey dies, but this is an interesting fact due to the wide held misconception that constricting snakes crush their prey. At one point I used to believe that too and it's the conclusion that many come to when "squeeze it to death" is mentioned.

Not a lot of pressure is required on the animal's rib cage to prevent it from breathing.
