BANGKOK, 23rd June 2018 (NNT) – The government’s spokesperson has explained why the prime minister’s wife didn't go to England and France with the prime minister on his recent trip, while also asking the mass media to verify their information before news reporting.

Lieutenant General Sansern Kaewkamnerd, the Prime Minister’s Office’s spokesperson, has now disclosed the reasons Ms. Naraporn Chan-o-cha, the Prime Minister’s wife did not accompany the prime minister to England and France.

His Majesty the King had graciously appointed a representative to present her with a vase of flowers at Government House on her birthday, 20th June 2018. Besides, her doctor had recommended she rest in preparation for upcoming minor surgery. It was not because she intended to avoid the potential scandal of going abroad to celebrate her birthday as reported by some news outlets.

Furthermore, the prime minister also clarified this matter upon meeting Thai people in London. He also said that he went to England for the benefit of Thailand and thanked everyone who had encouraged him during his visit. Although some of the public do not agree with him, he said he understands and is not annoyed. He also asked them not to quarrel because it may have a negative impact on the nation.

In addition, the prime minister emphasized that the election is certain to take place early next year. Meantime, he will gradually ease the tension created by various conditions so that everything can be accomplished according to the road map, including the local elections, which must be three months apart from the national election.

Prayut's wife would not go because Prayut insisted on wearing her favourite LV scarf.

She could not go because Cheap Charlie husband would not buy her a matching Louis Vuitton monogram handbag.

Even Sarah Huckabee Sanders can make up a better excuse than that.

Was anybody actually interested in the first place?

I, for one, have not slept for the last 3 days, I was so concerned.

'He was not annoyed'.

Have you or I ever seen Prayut when he is NOT annoyed - about something or other (usually any hint of that evil called Democracy) ...?!

Somehow I have a feeling that that is not the exact, literal and absolute truth, bonny lad...

The biggest negative impact on the  Nation is having a non elected military government that continues to seize power

Why dont they just admit that when all the scroungers grabbed seats the plane was full and no room for !!The trouble and strife !!

No, probably not. Just some media tripe.

Might as well as reported he didn't leave with huge amounts of suit cases as others have too. Equally not interesting.

The road map is a source of such tensions.  He is another source of tensions.  He thinks he is made of Teflon, but in reality, he is all sticky paper.

I see that Paid Liar Numero Uno is up on his hind legs again.

To what consequence this time?

None? Thought so. Another non-event by a non-person.

Some BS isn't even worth the effort listening to.

Prayuth wrapping himself in the flag. Last refuge of the scoundrel.

And he is, most assuredly, a scoundrel.

He' is the Government's spokesman and is well known, The term spokesperson might be used where the gender of the person is unknown.

That's mighty generous of him. And given he understands little, and is in a permanent state of annoyance, patently incorrect.

Yet one more thing he's wrong about.

That's a good reason right enough - she was expecting a bunch of flowers on her birthday. Seems only reasonable.

Aw bless...

Of course, the local elections. I'm sure there is frantic activity to get ready for local elections - sometime in the future .

Now where were they on the roadmap thing? Nothing must go wrong with the local elections!

I was just going to say that Col You read my mind. After all the holidaymakers from the gov and hangers-on went, there was no room for her on the A380:cheesy:

I think you'll find that gender-neutral language can be used in case of either or both genders. PC pain in the a$$ though it most certainly is. A demon conjured up by the feminists and cross-dressers

Not to nit-pick.
