Internet Banking Scam

Featured Replies

Read this on the Kasikorn Bank website. May be of interest to some.

Now there is a ‘Phishing’ website referring to itself as, kasikornbankin.com kosikornbank.com kasikornbanking.com kasikornbanking.org and kasikornbanking.info sending mails to deceive KBank customers, and inducing them to reveal their Username and Password (both PIN1 and PIN2) used in their online banking services.

Therefore, the Bank would like to warn all customers to be careful and avoid entering the above website or answering their e-mails. Any customer who has divulged their PIN, or want more information, please urgently contact the K-Contact Center at Tel. 02-888 8888 press 06.

Naka.

Good information.

The same for the other banks. The bottom line is that the bank would already know your pin # and therefore would not be requesting this information on an email. Assume any such request to be fraudulent.

Here in Oz it is all the banks polocies to reinburse money stolen through internet scams.

Is this the case with Thai banks?
