BAGNKOK, 10th July 2018 (NNT) - A total of 31 private firms have their expressed interest in bidding for the government's high-speed train project to connect two major airports, Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang, with U-Tapao International Airport.

The acting Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Voravuth Mala, said on Monday (July 9th) that Thai and foreign companies had purchased the bidding papers.

The high-speed train project is part of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The project aims to promote U-Tapao International Airport in Ban Chang district of Rayong province.

I'll bet it does, most of the money is to be made early before it sinks due to improper planning.

Nah, I would have thought the brown envelopes were included with the bidding papers. Need to be fair to all bidders so they're clear on what is required.

Don't forget too: even when you push the envelope it remains stationery.
