Non-F Visa Renewal

Featured Replies

I got a NON-F visa last year and will expire mid October.

What is the process of renewing it? My contract will be extended for another year

1) I should ask for the same papers that was given to me one year ago?

2) Is it the same process as first time? Get papers from HR, go to Laos with the stack of papers and comes back with another year? (would be nice to only go CW and get extended there?)

3) When the application have to be submitted? 3 months before expiration? If I go now, will it be extended after the current expiration date or I lose 3 months?

Thanks as always

You could apply for a extension of stay at immigration during the last 30 days of your current permit to stay. The extension would start at the end of your current permit to stay.

Not sure but I think you would apply for the extension at the one stop service center located at Chamchuri Square.

You need to ask your HR department about what is need to apply and where.

Thanks Ubonjoe... ?

I think applying now is too early right? Last 30 days is the way to go?

Now is certainly to early since immigration will not accept the application earlier than 30 days.
