Over 400,000 Baht and Four Trucks Full of Clothes Donated to Laos from Chiang Mai

CityNews – Chiang Mai has raised over 400,000 baht in aid and filled four trucks with donated clothes and items for those affected in the floods in Lao.

 

A caravan of four trucks filled with donated goods to those affected by floods in PDR Laos set out today, August 3rd, from Tha Pae Gate.

I wish I had known about this earlier.

Is there going to be another similar transport, and if so where can we donate clothes and items?

My girlfriend was up in Ubon a few days ago, and the Laotians were apparently refusing to accept items such as drinking water and other supplies. Instead the army handed it out to the people in Ubon.
