Thai netizens were outraged when a picture of a desperate old lady covered in blood were posted on Facebook.

The lady said that her own son had beaten her with a stick.

She could barely see out of one eye so badly was she attacked.

The poster Thanyarat Jaitham came across the old lady as she was walking out of a soi near the army camp of Sutham Phitak in Nakorn Ratchasima.

The old lady wanted to get to see her relatives.

The poster was horrified that anyone could do this to their mother.

Sanook reported that the lady is now in hospital after she was helped in contacting her relatives.

While netizens are calling for the police to act to arrest her son for the attack.

Thai-netizens are angered again!

Fine!

Change your childrens upbringing and stop putting all boys on a little throne!

Educate them to be responsible human beings, instead of spoiled little brats!

Then MAYBE they will stop behaving like that!

Make them work around the house, the same as very young daughters do.

Well it's near the army camp. That's already a worrying sign.

I don't want to speak for someone else, but I think CLW was being sarcastic regarding cannabis (i.e. alcohol and yaa ba use result in many problems and deaths, including acts of mayhem and violence as well as crashed vehicles). Meanwhile cannabis is still illegal and treated like ya ba from a criminal standpoint, yet is almost never the source of the problems associated with alcohol and other drugs.

That was my take on his post at least.

I just wanted to highlight that a high number of (domestic) violence in Thailand is the result of alcohol and amphetamine whereas you rarely hear something about cannabis related crimes.

The perp must be hunted down and taught a painful lesson hopefully the netizens will mount a posse ?

I should think he is at least 40, maybe older.

I’d like to take him diving without benefit of a underwater breathing apparatus lol needs a public shaming and a good beating at the very least

Mum will forgive him and take him back into the home, he'll be "humble" for about 2 weeks and then strike again!
