Marriage extension chonburi

Featured Replies

Just come back from chonburi.

Informed must use the office version of the TM7 not a download, must have Thai birth certificate for my son and must have 4 photos each on a separate sheet!

Will try again tomorrow. After lunch there was no queue.

I am just back from there as well. Well I went down at 8.30

and there was no Queue then either. That was the good news.

I think the lady on desk 6 - the top officer there - is new. I was sent away to get photos of me and my wife with a neighbour as a witness.

I have been renewing an extension based on marriage for 14

years and although this rule has been around for a while, this

is the first time it has been enforced on us.

I don't know any neighbours, so I am about to ask a question

about this on TV who this has to be.

Good luck when you go back.

Surely after 14 years you know someone who would "vouch" or "witness" that you and your wife are indeed married.?

I posted (in Pattaya forum) about the new form earlier in the year....but maybe there is another "newer" new form ? ?

That was a really helpful reply. Thank you very much for your

assistance.

id mine in Hua Hin last week and I used a friend of the wife's, didn't know her but all good. The IO came over to my condo that same day and had pics taken of him with us in our condo (a question of his credibility rather than mine I feel) That was a first for me in a number of years, but all in all a piece of cake.

Nice one - not sure if it is the same as my situation - I think I

am likely to take over the ops thread if I am not

careful, so I won't reply to any more stuff about my situation

on this thread.

Been again today with my son's Thai birth certificate more photos and downloaded TM7. Again no queue. The still wanted their larger type office TM 7 and the Thai birth certificate but not the extra photos. Then they filled in about 6 new forms most of which I did not understand and gave me my under consideration stamp.

Incidentally I did use the Chonburi app 45 days before my extension ran out but it's still showing Waiting for Submission although I couldn't find the actual submission button.

We went down in March for my marriage extension. The first lot of photos of us and our friends were no good because it showed our friend was with her husband, no farangs allowed. The next day we went down again with re-scanned photos, not enough of them, however on the third day, it was third time lucky. We must have photo copied over 20 photos by the end of it.
