Buying into a Company - B Visa and Work Permit

Featured Replies

HI

I am due to buy into a company and eventually work for that company once all the paperwork is done with a work permit. My question is shall i fly into the Kingdom on a B Visa and then apply for the work permit whilst I am there? This seems the obvious thing to do, but for me to do so what do I need to do? What paperwork do I need? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The company already has one Farang Work permit in use and has another one available which I will be using, also what are the costs for me to get the second work permit active and what is the procedure?

Can't you partners of the company you buy into tell you?

How many Thai people work for the company?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a list of requirements for a non-B visa that allows you travel to Thailand and start working from day one under paragraph 2.1(1) on this web page:

Some Thai consulates may use a variation of it. Check the website of the consulate where you plan to apply.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
