No one is denying their 'constitutional right' to, but you said it yourself in the above post - they're required to deliver on our vote. If they do not make good on promises made in public - to the public then they would be responsible some disastrous consequences. Why is that I wonder? Democratic vote and promises made by the top politicians in the land have anything to do with it? You can waffle on all you want about the ifs and buts and 'we're entitled to another one cos we lost', but the facts remain the same no matter how much sulking is done or how many irrelevant points are made.

If the government decides to renege on the guarantees made by the PM of the previous Tory government, then they would be proving to the already disillusioned electorate that democracy in the UK is merely a sham.

Parliament is not constrained by any so-called "guarantee". Promises made in public have No ifs, no buts. Parliament is also entitled to hold another Referendum if it so wishes. "Promises made in public". Worthless unless tested in Parliament. Not surprising that Hard Brexiteers unable to follow constitutional logic but then they never did. Uber Nationalists never do.

Your ignorance is starting to aggravate me. Do us all a favor and read a little before posting nonsenses. Do you want Germany to spend 2% of 4 trillion USD per annum on defense of what? Get a grip!

8,000 LeopardII main battle tanks EVERY YEAR????

the USA have 1,600 tanks in total.

Maybe you would prefer Germany to build some nuclear weapons?

All I can say is promises, honesty or 'doing as you say you will' clearly mean nothing to you - even less than they do to the treacherous, pocket-lining politicos in Parliament. The Remain crowd seems to be replete with these kind of amoral, dishonourable traitors.

And yeh, please keep chucking your witless slurs, they simply serve to make yourself sound an even bigger fool. It's funny how your comments never gain any traction or get even a solitary like, from what I can see...despite the amount of Remoaners that we have to suffer on here. Why is that I wonder? I've laboured an incredibly simple point enough - as have many others - I think it's best to leave you in your fantasy world, undisturbed and unchallenged from now on. ???? Laa-gon.

Certainly uber laborious. But then it would be, not able to follow simple logic. Life just a litany of traitors and Enemies of the People.

I’ve been a few times to white collar it’s ok but I prefer ju jitsu really. I’ve never had anywhere the flexibility for Muay to be honest ???? Owen will be like rice pudding in a wet paper bag but god would it be good to find out.

Good your brother in law is an instructor that’s really cool like really really cool.

After Brexit we will be able to get people like him to come and teach in the UK instead on the EU masses as will have a more open needs based immigration system.

Hahahaha!

Thanks. Surprisingly enough my brother in law lives here in Bangers and has done for 12 years now, but is originally from St.Neots in Cambridgeshire, close to where I'm from originally.

He is my sister's fella and not a relative of my missus (who's Thai-Burmese), though I understand why you would think the latter. He trained the European champion at welter weight some 20 years back now at his gym Surprendre Muay Thai - in Cambridge.

Personally, I love MT, having done it for many years now, albeit sporadically, I really appreciate it and the effect it has had on me growing up. It (martial arts in general) teaches you respect, composure and also a lot about yourself. Important lessons. BJJ is of course a great martial art too. Great conditioning and very effective if performed competently. Something I'd like to learn in the future.

Yes that shows a small world it is. If they taught more martial arts to young people it would save a lot of street crime as really does teach all the skills you need. Consideration, risk assessment, self control, anger management, environmental factors, basic anatomy, and maths as you always need to know how many targets you face or use the running skill you will also learn lol.

You need to understand things before you comment!

White collar boxing is a voluntary club where people in jobs where you might not be attracted come to fight it is quiet civilised.

Yep if it’s more than 50% it’s a win. Without a doubt.

For remainers who don’t understand let’s make it simple;

100~2=50 so that means 50 is half. So percentage is based out of 100 or 100% to be accurate.

So the 52.9% is above half, are you following carefully? It’s above have as over 50 which is half of a hundred

Sooooooo simple if you explain things like you do to a five year old!

When we get Brexit sorted we should consider re education camps for remainers so we can teach them the right path, add up, understand basic political things and now work in percentages????

In your constant stream of post diarrhea crapping down this thread, you have posted some real stuff for a change

yes, the referendum win was a decisive win, I agree with that

the referendum reflected a statistically clear win - nothing by chance here

Leave and destroy the British economy.

Stay and prosper.

Seems an easy choice to most people who do not have extreme ideology.

Hilarious !!

How about;

Stay and build more long term debt for your children and Grandchildren !

Stay see the EU expand less money for your own country as we will be rebuilding someone else’s.

Jobs takes away as EU subsidises new factories like Ford Transit in Turkey. Or new Jaguar factory in Slovakia.

90 percent of fish given away to foreign powers.

more subsidising of foreign powers military budgets.

Look forward to a vote based on actual facts not those sponsored by Soros and his Bliknaute Cabel.

I've no doubt that given the chance, SW and those of the same ilk - with their entrenched neo-liberal, socialist views - would want to see all but a very small proportion of the populous allowed to vote. The plebs don't count after all, and according to him and many others of an equally warped mindset, that's over half the country! - 'Let them eat cake'. ????

If you didn't laugh you'd cry!

And some Brexiteers wonder why they aren't taken seriously....... Well don't look up! :cheesy:

Please stop confusing Grouse with facts. You must know by now the only facts he believes in are the ones that are anti Brexit.

About half of all Leopard 2s — the tank which is most common in the Bundeswehr — were out of order as recently as November, which left the country with only 95 tanks of that type. By comparison, Russia is believed to have over 20,000 combat tanks, even though it is not known how many of them are operational.

That’s because they spend half what they agreed to in military spending.

Indeed it is.

Re "doing as you say you will meaning nothing to them", can you imagine how quickly they would change their tune on that were there another referendum and were they to win? I bet then they'd be advocating for the sake of democracy that the will of the people had to be respected. I bet also that if it was then debated after they won about whether we should have a soft or a hard remain, or whether we needed another referendum to check people hadn't changed their mind, they would answer that remain should mean remain, and that the matter was decided once and for all, and that we should all just get on with remaining in the EU.

All I can say is, if remainers do get their way and manage to overturn the democratic vote, the undoubted hypocrisy dishonesty and treachery it will expose in them all, as they suddenly turn 180 degrees with all of the arguments they have been making over the last couple of years, will make an utter joke of them, and they'll be torn apart in any serious debate. I will take no satisfaction in the mess it creates for the country, that will far exceed any mess that would be created by Brexit, but I'll take immense satisfaction in seeing those who played a role in overturning democracy having their careers disintegrate and fall apart, as they most certainly will.
