It would be a start if 7-11 did not always push plastic bags and straws onto you even for a small bottle of water.

Nether(l)ands 'taxed' is nonsense, it's not allowed anymore to give free plastig bags but you can buy them. Exempted are fresh fish and vegetable sellers. Nothing to do with tax.
