Need new ones due to a bad scratch on one lens. Anyone used Tesco Opticians vs Top Charoen? I am in Phitsanulok.

better off using Zenni optical mail order from China (zenni.com) IMHO.

I have used Top Charoen in Phitsanulok, but many year ago. They made a good job, though.

I had the same problem recently with a badly scratched lens and needed replacement...so I went to the rutnin hosp. in BKK and got a prescription and then sent that to zenni.com with my choice of frames...about USD75 for a nice pair of progressive lens specs...sent from Hong Kong and I got them about 10 days later...can't go wrong...

 

I got an expensive pair of specs some years ago from top charoen and in the middle east the frame hinges disintegrated from the salty perspiration within 6mos...they're to be avoided...
