Connecting wires the Russian way

I'm not sure why he needed to strip and twist that much copper, it wasn't going anywhere even before he welded the ends.

Suitably sized Wagos would be a lot faster although not as cheap.

Wow.  Please do not let Thai sparks see the drill segment.  Rubber boots and gloves - wonder if the circuits were live.  A plus for using heat shrink?  Maybe remnants of Communist predilection for making things labor intensive?

Innovative

I also have no idea what the purpose of this fusing is.

Some Russian language knowledge might help here.

"Sealing" to avoid "film" (what's the right word)?

Should I show it to the village "electricians"?

Good to see he was wearing safety glasses and gloves

This would confuse them

A belt and braces sparky, and using all the proper gear,

a Thai electrician, would ask what are the green wires for ?

and add Thai wires, and electricity are different no need to do all that.

The fusing eliminates the risk of a corroded or oxidised connection (corrosion or oxidation increases resistance, heat, and is commonly a source of connection failure or fire). I actually liked what I see, although I would have used two or three layers of heat shrink. I might start using that method myself! (my fingers suffer from 'wire nut fatigue', probably an age thing).

Very nice... he's Trumped it...we can learn a lot of the Russians.
Only thing I saw wrong was there was no toilet seat. It's really a bother as you can't leave it up when you're finished.

I don't think you're correct. As it looks like a reasonably safe and compact way to connect a large number of wires.

Regettably the word has been usurped and now has virtually the opposite meaning

Trumped:

Quote

Trumped: To completely mess something up.

Quote

Trumped:To be ****** over in new and imaginable ways on a regular basis

Quote

Trumped:When a woman is inappropriately touched, grouped or kissed on the lips by a man without her permission.

Quote

Trumped:To r**e a womenblame it on a Mexican, and not let the women pay to get an abortion.

Surely that's "Trumped" as opposed to "trumped".

Trumped and even though it's not yet in the regular dictionaries it probably will be quite soon.

Certanly my immediate thought followed the Trumped meaning rather than the trumped meaning

Though  I liked your toilet observation.

My HASH name's not CUNNING LINGUIST for nothing. (Though I think another meaning was intended).

I have serious panic attacks when I fly because of toilets. If I use one and it's up when I come in, do I leave it up when I leave?
Makes me eat and drink the free wine to stay calm.
