Most murderers get parole after 12 years, but, because a celebrity's life is worth much more than Joe six-pack's life, they are never let go. toofarnorth
Just keep denying him parole . If he was fried 30 years ago it would of been too quick , now I guess he has been feeling very miserable for years, this is good.

For intentionally killing an innocent stranger the average time served in the US is much higher than 12 years. Also parole decisions are not just mathematical. They need to consider the interests of all stakeholders including society as a whole.

Mansell
Glad he was denied, and they should keep denying him parole. He took a part of my youth the day he MURDERED John Lennon. Loony tunes and still a looney tunes.

Celebrities are much more at risk than the average Joe Blow. Look back at the looney tunes that have stalked and murdered innocent celebs that were just living their lives. I have no problem if they are imprisoned for longer than the average murderer. There is no equality in criminal systems in assorted countries......some spend decades in prison and in another country barely anything is done. Look at the German Looney Tunes that stabbed Monica Seles the tennis player when she was sitting between games.......he did no prison time, and completely destroyed her tennis career. She was the dominant female player in the world before the stabbing with many people in the game saying she could be the greatest ever, and after she was a shadow of her former self, and it probably cost her millions of dollars in lost winnings and promotion money. He did it because he wanted the German player Steffi Graf to be number one , and after the stabbing that is what happened. Did he have to pay Seles recompense for lost earnings.....not a dime. Seles refused to play in Germany after that because of the lousy legal system. I don't blame her.

TSF
He gets hate mail every day sent to him in prison, many people promise him the day his fat faggoty ass hits the streets again is the day someone will put a bullet in him. The safest place for him is right where he is now.

kamahele
If he is still a threat to society, he should remain behind bars. If not, release him to a mental health facility and be done with it. He will most likely never be released even if he is not considered a danger to society as he killed someone famous.
