A woman was killed after apparently being pushed from the seventh floor of a condominium building in Bangkok's Bang Bon district on Tuesday night.

After being alerted of the incident at 10.30pm, police arrested the "drunk" tenant of the room on the seventh floor of building six at Phatthara Condo complex on soi Ekkachai 83/1.

Police have yet to identify the dead woman or the man in custody.

Local resident Chumphon Boonthong, 52, said he went to investigate after hearing a loud sound and discovered the woman's body on the ground, then called the police.

The dead woman was found with a knife in her left hand.

Pol Lt Col Narongrit Thongpae, deputy commander of the Bang Khun Thian police station, said the woman had apparently met the man at the room and the two had been arguing before she fell to her death.

Narongrit said details of the incident were still not clear as the man was too intoxicated to testify.

Right, case closed. :coffee1:

CSI Thaivisa's finest barstool detective has solved the case. Took only 41 minutes. Good work, Vacuum.

Obviously you have no experience with ladies with a knife.

Big Joke is the only one with the skill to close a case in 5 minutes. He is on Koh Tao, closing cases left and right.

Flying down from the seventh floor and still hanging on to the knife in hand, now that is dedication.

kept hold of knife ?, that could have been nasty if she fell on it

My maid hasn't been for 2 weeks, but still happy my place doesn't look as bad as that!

How many people in Thailand die each year in falls?

My heart goes oit to victim and her family

I believe on here the protocol is...

If they are male white expats it is murder and the perps must be thais. Logic being that the poor victim must be as angry and depressed as many of the posters on here.

If they are thai it is suicide and nothing else needs to be said.
