Brought a TGF over when I was working near Antwerp one

time and we had one day of snow.

When she got back she told all her friends about it and

they all asked why she didn't bring some back with her.

No Snow in Manchester yet, looks like we have missed it :D:D I hate the stuff and never understand why people go on holiday to the snow and not to the sun. Each to their own but i know which i prefer :o

Oxford had about 7in according to my uncle. Pretty rare have that much snow there.

No snow in Nottingham, although more forcast for later - would be nice to build a snowman though. Its cold enough to snow though, I am now officially house bound, cant cope with cold weather - wrapped in all my clothes and have alcohol supplies and ciggies on their way to me this afternoon :o

Just spoke to a friend in London and all the snow has melted away now... :o

Just wait till Global Warming means 56 c in S,ney, Orstralia, Totster :o

Naka.

A wee bit snow and all this talk about it?. It is a constant source of amusement for us former North of the Border folks that S. England is virtually declared a disaster zone when it snows.

It is quite a normal event. In winter. In those latitudes.

Crivvens, walking to Primary School in short breeks and wellies with the snow over the top of the wellies.

All the kids socks drying on the class heaters all day...............

Doing call outs 24 hours a day for Casevac / Medevacs from Oil Platforms - most of us had trail bikes as the roads were undriveable for cars. (We never missed a call out).

Trying to get a 212 landed in self made white out............

Oxford coming to a grinding halt three years ago after about 1 inch of snow ;Don't people know that you have to drive a little slower on snow?. Highly entertaining. :o

And of course, the trains that could not run bacause it snowed THE WRONG SORT OF SNOW!!!!!!

Brill - more please. :D

I love this globalwarming stuff, us Brits are fussing about a couple of inches of snow, in New York State they have had several feet!.

yeah, cheers Tots...

in four days I'm arriving in the UK ya bum!
