Re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi without copies/photos still possible?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

quick question:

Can somebody confirm that is still possible to get a Re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi without copies/photos? by paying 200 thb more

I'm on a NON-O based on marriage and I will need to fly out on the 20th.

Since I live quite far away from the immigration office it would be a lot better for me to get the the re-entry permit directly at the airport

Thank you

Nothing more than your passport is needed if you pay the 200 baht service charge.

Are you aware the re-entry permit desk is after security in immigration zone 2 now?

I went through Suvarnabhumi 10 days ago and after the security check for your belongings in Zone 2 BUTฺ BEFORE going through Immigration, the re-entry desk is in the far "left hand" corner staffed by two young ladies.  They take your photo, automatically print out the re-entry form already filled out, take 1,200 Baht (two receipts given, 200 Baht was for the photo and form fill out service) and then give your passport to a uniformed officer in the back to put the re-entry stamp in your passport.  Then you take your passport and pass through Immigration leaving the country.  They only give single re-entries.

Always good to have some photos with you.

The machine can fail but then they would still do the traditional form + photo.

In the past, I've got multiple re-entries at Suvarnabhumi. Has something changed? Ubonjoe?

Nothing has changed. You can get a multiple re-entry permit.

Perhaps a misunderstanding dependent upon the length of his permit to stay.

Thanks guys! all clear... I will need just a single re-entry permit by the way

@mojaco: could you please share what time of the day was it when you got your permit? how long did the process take?

I'm trying to figure out how early should I be at the airport... My flight leaves at 8:50am... Probably a busy time

In the past year, I have done 3 reentries at Suvarnabhumi and have never had to wait more than about 20 minutes. Give yourself more time though if you stress easily.
