It is not as if the bars have issued POS devices to the staff to allow for tracking of orders. As it is, most of the bars still rely on writing paper receipts for the drinks. The receipts do not show who gets the credit for the order. Staff might be able to keep some tips, but usually, when the tip is put into the payment book, the tip money is sometimes kept by the bar manager and sometimes distributed to the workers. The only way a bar worker keeps a tip is when they are discreetly paid by the customer. -
