Angry topless farangs go viral after telling Thais to keep the noise down

 

 

A video shared to the Pattaya News Facebook page showed two topless foreign men berating their Thai neighbours over the noise they were making from their workshop.

 

The foreign men were reportedly angry that their neighbours, who are mechanics, were still working and making noise past 6pm.

 

One of the men, who seems to have a Scottish accent and appears to be drunk, can be heard shouting "finish your noise right now!"

 

One of the Thai men can then be heard telling the Scottish man he isn't scared.

 

The other foreign man, who while also topless appears to be considerably calmer than his Scottish friend, then questions the working hours of the group, saying they only have a license to operate between between 8am and 6pm.

 

The Scottish man then demands to see the ID card of one of the Thai men.

 

People commenting on Facebook were mostly in support of the Thai men, who were praised for remaining calm during a confrontation.

Could have easily ended in a murder

Maybe the Scotsman bought a very expensive condo/house and thought he'd have a nice quiet retirement...then next door becomes a garage with constant noise for hours on end each day and he's a bit upset ?

These Scottish blokes, while I admire their spirit (and arguably their cause) have got their execution all wrong here.

 

Not speaking a word of Thai (or passable English) , not wearing a shirt, and actually expecting the cops would even turn up let alone give the Thai blokes a telling off.

 

Good for a laugh though. Just hope it wouldn't come to fighting though as am sure the locals' numbers would multiply very rapidly indeed

Absolute disgusting behaviour! If they had an iota of the grey matter, they would have called the Police in the first instance, rather than making a fool of themselves and then calling the Police!

That's not my concern, my concern is people behaving worse than animals.

I have every sympathy for the two blokes.

Noise is a huge problem here and Thais are just selfish and have no consideration for anyone.

Noise pollution is not a concern of the police, it is a civil offense, you would have to call a health officer to come and take a reading. 

Maybe the noise interferes with these two lovers’ play time together.

Deceiving headline.  Where's the dislike button?  I came to see an image of some beautiful ladies trying to get an overall tan on top only to see these mugs.

Guy  was lucky his nipple ring wasn't ripped out lol. Can you imagine the reaction if a foreigner carried on like that to a work crew in Glasgow, screaming about showing their I.D.s  I'm sure they would be just as calm as these Thais lol.
