An emblem of Pheu Tham Party features the letter ธ, which transliterates to T, with the Democracy Monument in the middle.

BANGKOK — Pheu Thai is reported to be moving key members to a surrogate party, just in case it gets disbanded by the junta and banned from politics.

Fearing the party could suffer the same fate as its two predecessors, a number of potential MP candidates and party leaders were transferred to a shell party called Pheu Tham, or “For Dharma,” according to a leader of the Pheu Thai-allied Redshirt organization.

Er...Ahem...

I'd create several 'spare' parties.

Anyone who expects the Junta/Prayut to be even remotely fair is foolish indeed...

The Future Forward and Commoner Parties might do the same.

Such alternate spare parties, and their associations, have probably been ready on the back burner for quite some time.

....and certainly not just applying to the standing Pheu Thai group - as noted above by Srikcir.

They all seem to know how the game is being played.

Something in the wind? Wouldn't surprise anyone as seems would be like self imposed PM business as usual. Actual nowadays #2 is acting like #1 as it is well thought he is.

Better yet, retain their names and loudly boycott this whole 'election' charade en masse. What do they have to lose given the junta retain power for the next 20 years anyway, under current political conditions?

The revolution will not be restricted to traditional colours.

Indeed. Almost as foolish as believing PTP to be remotely honest,

Time for real change, but highly unlikely.

I do believe they are quite a bit more honest as the people currently running the show. And... they can always be voted out of office Change will only occur as idiots are unable to use military power to take control of the basket case of a country Thailand is, and sorry to disappoint you PT and any other political party have no blame in this fact.
