ProThaiExpat Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 Assuming the money is a gift, I am unaware of any falang ever paying gift tax in Thailand for funds originating in another country, since the country of origin is usually the country that controls the taxing of the funds, either as income tax or gift tax.
