The final few Harry Potter movies could have looked very different, as Rupert Grint has revealed that he seriously considered quitting the franchise midway through.

 

Grint, of course, played Ron Weasley in the film adaptations of JK Rowling's popular books.

 

But the actor admitted that he struggled to deal with the fame and thought about stepping down from the role after the fourth movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

 

"I had just finished my GCSEs," he told the Independent. "I thought, 'Do I actually want to keep doing this? It's a bit of a drag'.
