Three Facebook page administrators arrested for organising road racing

Bangkok police on Friday arrested three men for allegedly using their Facebook pages to organise road racing in the capital.

 

Pol Col Nithithorn Jintakanon, acting traffic police chief, identified the three suspects as Chainarong Thaipong, 24, Kongkiart Kiratiisariyakul, 36, and Chitawat Parnnoppa, 19.

 

Nithithorn said Chainarong used his Max Dindaeng page to coordinate with Sor Jor Bang Song Jodekube page of Kongkiart to organise road racing on Ratchadamnone Road on October 23, attracting some 20 young motorcyclists.

 

Nithithorn added that Chitawat used his page to organise road racing on several occasions and his page has some 500 followers.
