Gareth Southgate rumour is gaining traction in the UK

Should be easy enough for him to dispel the rumour if he wasn't on board...just show himself.

If he was, that is just more misery for the global football community.

Southgate's last tweet was in 2014. Not a regular tweeter!

Just read some well respected UK sport correspondent has said Southgate was not in the chopper.

I did say the England twitter account, but not to worry.

That's the problem.  There's no sighting or statement, which is strange for someone who was at the game.

I'm a West Ham Supporter. On the West Ham forum I use , some of the posters went to the game.there was police drone over car Park when they walked out, there was trouble around later around ground as well followed by police drone

Would be shocking news if a drone caused the accident , but a well maintained helicopter does not fall to the ground that easy without a reason.

Without a reason? How about a failure of its many moving parts

Compare that to a fixed wing aircraft and you can visualize how much harder a chopper has to work

https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/leicester-confirm-owner-vichai-srivaddhanaprabha-one-five-dead-horror-helicopter-crash-220952065.html,

so 1 pilot?

There seems to be some confusion over the status of Izabela Lechowiz. Several reports list her as a passenger but according to a statement from the Polish Embassy and an article in the Sun, she was a pilot who worked together with Eric Swaffer (the pilot named in all the reports). Virtually all previous reports said there was a pilot and co-pilot and she was a qualified helicopter pilot who regularly worked with Swaffer (they ran the business together) so it's not clear why she would be travelling as only a passenger.
