Jilted husband, 62, arrested in Phuket for murder in Sa Kaeo

PHUKET: A 62-year-old man wanted for shooting dead his wife’s lover in Sa Kaeo province last Thursday (Oct 25) was arrested in Phuket Town yesterday (Oct 29).

 

Phuket Provincial Police Deputy Commander Col Chaiwat Uikam presented the suspect, Uten Jitman 62, at a press conference at the Phuket Provincial Police office at Phuket City Police headquarters in Phuket Town this morning (Oct 30).

 

Joining Col Chaiwat at the press conference were Maj Gen Thatchai Pitanilaboon, Deputy Commander of Region 2 Police and Col Padoongsak Raksasin, Deputy Commander of Sa Kaeo Provincial Police.

so much for thai men growing out of tantrams

I just don't understand. She provides him with a reason for divorce. Just divorce her and move on. Instead, he chooses to do something that will have him in jail for the rest of his life. At 62 years of age, he should be a little wiser to life and relationship failures.

In the link with the entire story, he said he found both lovers in a bed, and said when entering the room his wife's lover who was a soldier jumped his gun and fired first, so he fired back, maybe not true, but finding his wife in the bed with the man it's not the same as if he'd decided to go kill his wife's lover, at least IMHO

I have read 2 differing accounts. One says he tried to fire first. Misfire. Lover fires back. He finds another gun and shots him. One has to wonder how man guns in that house.

 

Another report says the Lt lover fires first and the husband fires back. 

 

Take you pick. At least he not shoot his wife. As far as we know.
