i have my first (and last!) income confirmation letter from the embassy, i believe i have to get it 'authorised' before i go to immigration - can anyone confirm this and advise where in bangkok i can get it authorised?

Not sure what you are referring to by authorization.

A few immigration offices want the signature of the consular officer that signed your income letter from the embassy verified by the Consular Affairs Department in Bangkok. thanks for your reply, a friend told me i needed to get the embassy letter 'authorised'... but he lives in hua hin so maybe it is required there?

 

i'll be going to chengwattana so if required i can get it done while i'm there

Immigration at Chaeng Wattana does not require the signature to be verified.
