When the non Imm O has less than 45 days remaining of the 90 days, when then applying for extension based on retirement, will the documentation that was handed in for the non Imm O being held by immigration, be used for the extension? Ie .income stat dec , proof of where you live.

You would have to submit everything again except for the statutory declaration. They would pull the statutory declaration used for the visa application out of the file for it to be used for the extension application. Some offices make a copy of it, stamp it and give it to you to use for extension application.

Immigration did not return my stat dec and when I asked for it back I was told to get another one.i had handed in the original and copy.

Perhaps at the office you went to. At most they pull it out of the file as I stated.

Phuket does a lot of things differently than other offices.

Financially not viable. Car and driver 1000 to Imm and back. If they say ok, then it's worth it. If not, then another trip to the consul,1000, then back to Imm again, another 1000. Total cost 3000. Alternativly ,trip to consul then on to Imm and back, 1000.
