Visa renewal, B800,000

Featured Replies

On 10 April 19 my retirement visa will expire.     I like to go to Immigration to renew it about a month early so probably go around 10 March.    The previous 20 years or so I used the embassy letter but this time I am going to go with the B800,000 deposit.     My question is how far in advance should the 800,000 be on deposit?   I have heard both 60 or 90 days.

60 days is only for the first application, since you are renewing your extension, the money must be in the bank for 90 days.

It's 3 months.

(4) On the filing date, the applicant must have account  deposited  (saving / fixed account) in a bank in Thailand of no less than
Baht 800,000 for the past three months. For the first year only, the applicant must have proof of a
deposit account in which said amount of funds has been maintained for no less than 60 days prior to
the filing date;

It’s 3 months (not 90 days).
