Immigration O Visa Benefits Vs Visa on Arrival

Featured Replies

Is it possible to open up a Thai bank account with a Non-Immigrant O visa and get a Thai driving license? Hoping both of these are possible.

Any other benefits of having a Non-Immigrant visa over a visa on arrival besides the obvious longer stay, etc.

do you mean visa exempt?

I mean the 30 days grace you get if flying in, apologies if using the wrong terminology

Based on experiences reported by Thaivisa members, different bank branches use different criteria for the opening of a bank account.

For a driving licence, you should check with your local branch of the Department of  Land  Transportation about their requirements.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Both are possible.

Only if you have a history of previous visa exempt entries ( not visa on arrival).
