I have a Finnish man who is talking with me right now who entered Thailand on a 30 day entry at Suvarnabhumi and then extended for a further30 days at Khon Kaen immigration (1900 baht).  His extension expires tomorrow (6/11//18) so I told him he must go over to Laos to get a further 30 day stamp.  Can he just cross over and immediately return or does he have to stay a certain amount of time (days) in Laos?   Thanks.

He can leave the country enter Laos, turn around and come right back.

I assume he has not already done 2 visa exempt entries at a land border crossing this year.
