Visa for alien born in Thailand

Featured Replies

I am Australian, here in Thailand working with a work permit and a visa attached to the work permit.

My wife has a non b visa that is linked to my work permit. It is extended every year, for 1 year, just the same as mine is.

My wife (Australian) had a baby back in April.

Got the birth certificate ok, Australian citizenship, and Australian passport, all done, no worries.

Now turning my attention to my baby girls visa to stay in Thailand. My wife is going to Singapore so plan to get the baby a non b visa while they are there so she can come back into Thailand with that.

Questions;

  • What paperwork do we need to submit to the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore?
  • Anyone got a sample letter from employer I can use?
  • Aware need company registration.

Thanks in advance.

You baby would get a non-o visa based upon being your child since you are on a extension of stay. You wife also got a non-o visa not a non-b visa before she got her extension of stays based upon yours.

The standard requirements to get the non-o visa is your child's birth certificate plus a copy, copies of your passport photo page and extension of stay stamp. Supporting documents from your employer are not normally required for a non-o visa application at a embassy or consulate.
