Hi,

I have been trying recently to sell my car and after various recent setbacks with getting Residence Certificate (which I eventually got) and having to leave Thailand next week for a long period of time, I transferred my vehicle to my Thai partner last Monday in Bangkok successfully, with her name in the book which would make it a lot easier to sell in my absence due to my Residence Certificate expiring etc.

As luck would have it, I had a buyer for the car a few days after and we went to Bkk to transfer vehicle again to new owner with all correct docs etc.

The problem was that their (DLT) system hadn't updated the previous change (even though my partner's name was in the book) and the DLT staff said to try again next week.

Does anyone have experience with this and how long it actually takes for the system to update?

Many Thanks
