Just a few hours after coming back from a visa trip to Savannakhet yesterday, I received an email about a "breaking news" family event back in home country.

As of now, I still don't know if I will have to go or not.

Yet, just to be prepared, I would like to know if it is possible to get a re-entry permit on a single entry non O visa, or if my brand new visa would be lost as soon as I would leave Thailand.

Thanks for your input...

You can get a re-entry permit to keep the remainder of the 90 day entry from the non-o visa valid when you enter the country using the re-entry permit.

You can get a re-entry permit, but it will only keep your current permission to stay alive. E.g. if you leave after 10 days, stay out 20 days, you’ll get the remaining 60 days on re-entry.
