Nongprue dredges smelly canal

PATTAYA:--Nongprue dredged a public canal after receiving complaints about its stench.

 

Sanitation workers used a backhoe and truck to scoop out natural and man-made debris from the Nongprue 2 Community canal. The backup of waste and putrid water was stinking up the neighborhood.

 

The canal can now handle more storm runoff and sewage from nearby homes, which will be sent for treatment.

    Cleaning the canal isn't  fixing the problem isn't it, be the same again in a few months.
