Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can buy aromatic wood for smoking food in Thailand? (Apple, Cherry, Hickory etc.)

Either online or store

Thanks for your help

Info

Wood chips used to be available at True Value hardware stores, haven't looked for any since my BBQ burned up awhile back.  Here's the link to their locations in Thailand, maybe you can find a store near you to check:

I bring bags back when I visit the USA. I have not seen them in rural Thailand (Buriram). In Hawaii Guava wood was used for smoking fish and pork, and it tasted very nice.

Thanks for all your help. I wasn’t impressed with Coconut husks but I’ll give guava a try
