Bangkok Bank daily withdrawal and transfer limit

Featured Replies

Opened an account with them recently and they do mention if i do not have WP my daily atm withdrawal limit would be 50,000 and transfer limit would be 100,000 .

Is there anyway to request for higher limit of transfer ?

That's strange as they didn't say anything like that to me.

In fact I went in to ask about a Credit card that I could use for online shopping & they offered me a Mastercard debit card which does the job I wanted. They asked me at the time how much I wanted my daily limit to be (Seem to recall it went up to 200-300K).

If you haven't got the MasterCard ATM, it's worth going in and explaining to them you want a card you can use online, the Union Pay one is pretty useless except as a ATM card.

Edit: Should add that I believe you can take out even higher amounts over the counter, but you might need to arrange it in advance if it's significant cash

Just a visit at the branch, they will connect you with the main office and per telephone you will get any limit. I have done it by all 3 accounts.. BKK Bank, Kungsri and SCB.. all done per telephone.

I recently opened another BB account, was told that without WP max ATM withdrawal / day would be 50 000

Later I read a BB power point presentation to farang in Pattaya about their services,

there it was said max 50 000 unless you have WP or long term visa (retirement - extension of stay)

I need to check this up.

I can set transfer limits online. Sign in to my Bangkok Bank online account, go to My Settings>Change transaction limits.
