amse
I understand medical marijuana will be legal in Thailand soon, and it will be available in pharmacies. How can we know whether it's the real thing or actually synthetic medical marijuana made in conventional medicine drug labs? I also understand that Monsanto is getting into synthetic marijuana big time.
KneeDeep
Understand or simply spreading baseless rumour? https://www.mintpressnews.com/did-monsanto-really-just-get-a-patent-for-gmo-marijuana/204480/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto_GMO_cannabis_hoax
KneeDeep
But patenting is to the fore at the moment; https://news.vice.com/en_us/article/ywjedw/a-patent-for-cannabis-plants-is-already-a-reality-and-more-are-expected-to-follow Not just in the USA, but Thailand too as witnessed in recent reports. Sheryl
There is no reason to think it will be available at pharmacies. It has been moved from category 5 narcotic to category 2, same as morphine etc - allowed for medical use but strictly controlled. It will most likely be available only from hospitals on doctor prescription. And it will be a while yet as there is nto yet a registered product on the Thai market and process of registration takes time.
