Walking street fight: Chinese told "you're not leaving until you apologize"

Featured Replies

Taking sides with the Chinese, these can be tough places.

Reminds me of a story I had in one of these Go-Gos in Patpong. Immediately as I sat down a lady aggressively approaches, slams her hand on the table and demands “you buy me drink”

(Very large body, covered in tatoes, cigarette hanging out of her mouth blowing foul smoke in my face if I was to buy a lady drink she would be the last person I would want to talk to).

All I said was “No thank you” and the “lady” starts hurling insults in Thai and had me kicked out! I was literally asked to leave the establishment by some guy.

Is that a way to get customers? I just found another bar and spent my money among more polite company!

  • Yes, that's the way to woo the Chinese back, make them feel welcome. How many nails do they need to close the coffin completely?

I'm not your buddy. So do not deign to use phrases that you would not use to my face.

I described exactly what happened that made him regret it. Perhaps you missed that description. A 'street brawl' is just a figment of your imagination. No one else has suggested it but you.

So your totally long-winded and tedious rant was wholly unnecessary.

I'd hazard a guess nobody dare use the buddy phrase to your face, you sound extremely tough.
