Do the result after 30 days of exposure is conclusion ? Do I need to take othe test after 6 weeks or 3 month ?

Thank you ! And sorry for my bad English

1. Risk of infection from oral sex is  none if you gave it and  extremely low if you received  it - you would have to have had open sores/cuts in your mouth or throat and, of ocurse, the other person would have had to be HIV+ with detectable viral load.   Oral sex  is much, much  less risky than anal sex. The reason for this is that the virus does not live in saliva, only semen, and requires a route of entry into the blood stream. In anal sex that happens because there are often  micro-tears in the anal mucosa.

2. Combo test at 30 days will detect 95% of infections. To be absolutely certain, have a repeat test once 3 months have passed.

Between the low risk to begin with (as transmission via oral sex is very infrequent) and the negative test at 30 days the odds you were infected are astronomically low at this point. But get the 3 month test just to make it 100% sure.

The S/CO number is often not listed. It is nto part of the individua's result, it is a feature of the test itself.

You have a bad case of "googleitis".

one of the things that happens on google is that things get propagated/take on a life of their own according to how often people did a related search or click on a link. this does not necessarily reflect how true or common that thing is.

One of these "internet memes"  are the symptoms associated with early HIV infection. While certain symptoms have been mentioned in the literature they are in fact not common. In addition, they are very nion specific and often occur in people without HIV, including people suffering no more than a common cold or flu or simple anxiety.

The overwhelming majority of people with HIV had no noticeable symptoms after initial infection. In fact,  after some 30 years working in this field, I have yet to meet a single person with HIV who recalls such symptoms. However, I have seen hundreds of uninfected people worried they had HIV because they had - or imagined they had - these vague, non-specific symptoms.

In your case what you are focusing on (skin lesions, thrush int he mouth which is where white tongue comes in) are not even associated with early HIV infection at all but rather with AIDs which takes years and years (like 10 years sometimes even more) after an HIV infection to develop, and nowadays is rarely seen since people get treated and no longer progress to AIDS.

Relax and try to stop googling this.  You have simple acne.  And are paying too much attention to the color of your tongue.

Thank you so much for your explaination Sheryl . Yeah , these days I search Google a lot about the symptoms and worry everytime I read it . I think I should stop it now ( eventhough it's difficult sometime TT) and waiting for 3 months to do other test ( hope I can relax and let my mind clam and do not think much about this issue in this time ) .

Sorry for ask a lot but I still one question

After 28 days , I got my 1st test at Thai Red Cross and this is result paper

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pUNKs5PclOxbCdnFwMXR4M1dml-u-lpP/view?usp=drivesddrivesdk

I wanna ask that the method they use HIV Anti ( CMIA) is 3rd generation and result only conclusion after 3 months right ?

And what is Treponemal test ? Is that for syphilis ? And the result after 28 days is non reaction , that means Im ok with syphilis ?

Thank you so much for your help

The CMIA is a 4th generation test. It identifies both antigen and antibody and at the time you did had about 95% accuracy. In addition the TRC does a NAT (PCR) test on eqch days sample which brings you to at least 99% certainty. To make it 100% have an antibody test at 3-6 months post exposure.

Yes, the treponemal test is for syphilis.

Sheryl sorry for asking you again

But I just remember that the rapid HIV Combo test which I made only need 20 mins for result . Is that rapid result can be trusted ?

And one more thing , about the result at Thai Red Cross Clinic , if I choose to do Anti HIV test ( they will also test with NAT method ) for me right ? I'm kinda confuse between Anti HIV ( CMIA ) and NAT . Do I need to take other NAT test ?

YES the rapid result can be trusted.

NAT test is done on all blood samples each day. They combine all the blood that was tested and do one single test  NAT on  the combined batch, if it is positive (rare) then they go back and test one by one to do see which is causing the positive result. You do not take a NAT test as such, it is an internal control measure.

You need only an antigen test at this point.

So can the 28-day test result with my MSM oral exposure at the Thai Red Cross be reliable? 27 or 28 days are too early for the test method at TRC ?

Thank you for always answering my confuse
