I’m watching my niece for a month while her dad has a gig in Vegas, her mom went as the booking agent, but we all know the real reason….. It’s Vegas and lets just say his coworkers aren’t Saints.

I took her with me to run a few errands and we stopped at a candy store, I asked what she wanted and she said no thanks. While I waited in line she was playing a video trivia game. We got home and she puts a bunch of candy in the fridge, I asked where it came from and she said “I stole it”. I was speechless, I couldn’t believe it.. it had to be 5–10lbs of candy..

I immediately told her to empty all her pockets, put a coat on and get in the car.. and took her straight to the jewelry store.

Little Johnny came home from school and told his parents they just had the first lesson in sex education.

"And, how was it?" asked his dad...

"Well... first came the priest and told us why we're not allowed to do it. Then came doctor and told us how we are not allowed to do this. And finally came the school principal and told us where we're not allowed to do it..."

And this was banned by them a few years earlier

George got banned multiple times, "When I'm Cleaning Windows" had many alternative verses some of which were decidedly near over the line. Apparently HM Queen Elizabeth II was a great fan!

You're right!

Must've caused much hand-wringing in Broadcasting House..."we want to ban this, but the Queen likes it! What SHALL we do?"

I'd love to have been a "fly on the wall" 🤔

Meanwhile, the BBC didn't always quite get it.

Kenny’s Everett’s original idea for the name of the character was “Mary Hinge”. The BBC said “No, no, that’s far too rude.” So Kenny went back to them and sarcastically said “Alright, what about Cupid Stunt then?" To his amazement, they said“ well, yes we can’t see a problem with that ..."

Could we make it now?

Would a "serious" chat show host entertain her?
