I remember reading a transcript of this back in September. It's interesting to see the video. The transcript is here:

A few thoughts though. First, who is Police Col. Suppachai?

Second, he says some things in the video that already have been proven to be incorrect. For example, someone asked him if it would still be possible to get a triple entry tourist visa in Penang, and he said, that yes, it would always be available. Well, we know that's not the case.

Third, in the transcript the following line is attributed to him:

"The main thing at the moment is that now people that come to Thailand for 10 years are not getting screened. With the tourist visa the police now have a chance to check the people that are not on the blacklist. That is the main thing of this new law. "

But on the video, it's actually spoken by someone with a rather strange (German?) accent, and not the "Col." So, this whole things looks a bit dodgy to me.

Does anyone take this seriously?
