Rimmer
Completion of accessible Sukhumvit overpass set for year-end PATTAYA:--The wheelchair-accessible pedestrian bridge across Sukhumvit Road should be completed by year-end, the Father Ray Foundation said. Foundation Vice President Rev. Michael Picharn Jaiseri said Nov. 26 construction of the elevator-equipped overpass near Redemptorist Technological College for Persons with Disabilities should wrap by the end of December. The long-delayed project was requested by the school but delayed by lawsuits and budget diversions. It is expected to open about two years behind schedule. -- © Copyright Pattaya Mail 2018-12-

Emster23
Did they say which year end? Along with Western New Years, Chinese or Thai? Lots of wiggle room there.

mikebell
How long did the Klang underpass take? Next, having ruined all the businesses made inaccessible by that project; having made Pattay Nua a no-go area; they will start on Pattaya Tai. The wheelchair pedestrian overpass has dragged on a bit. I always regarded Tai a no-go area anyhow!
DrTuner
Wrong way... pedestrians into underpass and elevated highway for cars. Could've done the whole stretch from Chonburi. Too late now, had to fill that campaign promise and do the bloody tunnel.
