BANGKOK — Deputy junta chairman Prawit Wongsuwan said Friday a Thai republican group believed operating from Laos should not be taken seriously.

 

Gen. Prawit’s assessment of the underground network came after a meeting with the Laotian defense minister earlier today. Prawit said Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath confirmed the republicans are based in his country.

The word in the title says it all. Threat. That's how Thais perceive democratic systems.

I doubt that the Lao People's Democratic Republic has any concerns about support for a republic form of government.

Well.....particular elite circles certainly do.

Instinctive perceptions of a looming threat, as they might feel slighted towards the ever changing paradigm shift.

But if they get hold of some with this criminal flag missing the blue they will be locked up for 20 years+. If showing up in certain areas they would be lynched.
