  • I don't know that much about Tillerson but I'm sure he's not as dumb as Trump.

  • Tillerson ran Exxon, one of the biggest companies on the planet, and never went bankrupt.

This is the kind of deplorable statement that could only be uttered by somebody cowardly hiding behind the anonymity afforded by the internet.  You are deriving pleasure from watching the country split into two warring factions, and almost seem to be basking in the suffering of your fellow humans.  I suggest you seek professional help.

im not hiding my opinion here nor offline.

Only suffering I hear is from keyboard whiners. best you find a good candidate

and gear up for 2020 ????

What grade is he in?

I love his tweet trolling. I even love how it triggers the crowd here into going madder and madder. some even rabid calling for his early demise might need some therapy but im not sure that'll help.

I call it Trump Induced Tourettes Syndrome. An epidemic but it has nice acronym so its not all bad.

I can't wait until we hear the excuses...you must have a lot now, but I would begin to make a flow chart and a list now, before it becomes impossible.  Maybe Fox will come out with a "list of denials, alternative facts for the defense of our supreme leader, and They did so...."

"His tenacity, broad experience and deep understanding of geopolitics make him an excellent choice for Secretary of State."

DT said that?  If so, then it was a prepared statement written by one of his minions.  Probably thinks tenacity has something to do with an octopus.

Now, about one year later, Tillerson suddenly is "dumb as a rock" and "lazy as hell".

Now that's more like it.

Denouncements, name calling, and use of vague empty terms like going well, interesting, and good things, yeah, that's the ticket.

'China talks are going very well'

That statement says it all -- it probably means the talks are about to collapse.

He's the anti-Socrates.

nice! you mean like "What Happened".  Nah Im not into book length excuses

and media induced bitterness and despair.

If President Trump gets legally or even politically taken down, id give credit to that machine for being more adept. No whining for years for me.

I'm impressed by which media outlets are saying what.  The staunch right-wing ones like The Hill and Washington Examiner are getting more critical of El Naranjo by the day, even implying that he may have actually violated the law!

Gold star goes to Steve Doocy at Fox.  He said of that heavily-redacted Flynn document "good news!  there is no mention of collusion!"  Even his moronic sidekick (the guy on the right-hand side of the screen) looked at him in wonder.  :clap2:

Troll post removed.

Wow!

The following is not from a satirical, mocking talk show, nor a liberal-biased media news show.  If Ronnie Reagan were alive WashEx would be calling him a snowflake.

Free speechiest president ever. I find it very refreshing to put an end to the poitical correctness era and the language control freaks who have taken over academia, media, and even some parts of the internet.

I think George Orwell would be quite proud of the damage done to constipated speech by one bad orange man.

I can agree or disagree with Trump on a number of things but im happy he is speaking the way he speaks, freely.  Let Trump be Trump.

What a President says and writes has consequences.  Misinterpretation of the signals coming from the White House led to the Korean War and Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.  Trump's open dislike for democratic allies, fondness for dictators, and labeling the press as "the enemy of the people" undoubtedly led to Saudi Arabia deciding it could murder Khashoggi without consequences.

Responsible Presidents choose their words carefully.  Trump is not a responsible President.

Who chose Tillerson in the first place?

Who chose all the people who have been fired because they were not right for the job?

Somebody who, at the very least, has no talent for making a wise assessment of peoples character.

Perhaps because they themselves cannot even begin to make an objective assessment of their own self.

By why would that person need to when they consider themselves beyond reproach and have an army of idiots worshiping them?

Hate filled idiots who agree and eagerly feed on every hate filled outburst.

Because that's why and what they voted for........hate.

They've got what they voted for......The Republic of Hate.

Right. Blame the machine, not Trump. No years of whining for you. Just a lifetime of denial.

So why did Trump choose him as he works only with the best people according to himself?

Yes, the other fired "players" have been tooooo intelligent for him. Team playing impossible :w00t: .

Boon Mee, how much money do you receive for all your unsubstantiated comments concerning Trump and his cohorts?

I give Tillerson a well deserved golf clap (and maybe even a wai).  He played this like a true Statesman with almost unlimited resources (intell and connections) should.  Beautifully.

He accepted the nomination, passed the tests, pull the plug on Exxon, retired with full Exxon pension/buyout tax free (because of the government appointment).  With his corporate intell, he knows full well, who and what his new "Boss" is.  Understands the rats nest and political porridge the "Boss" is creating.  Strategically pokes the new Boss a few times (but plays strictly by the rules).  Smiles knowing the exit strategy has payed out like a Bolshoi ballet...  Wicked...but (TR) Gump thinks otherwise

Yup, fully agree. Tillerson, like most of the other competent cabinet members (most of whom have left or are leaving), was always about service to country to countervail the damage of a Trump, in spite of an idiot as boss. This is the same justification most Republicans are using in supporting Trump, is that they are supporting the party long enough to get some normalcy installed.

Tillerson was a god awful Secretary of State. High level employees resigned in droves because of him. He refused to fill important positions. He made a shambles there. Which is what Trump and Steve Bannon wanted.

I agree, that the optics didn't favor Tillerson.  I'm not defending, but it will be interesting, when a detailed (factual) version of events is released.   Is there a portfolio under the Trump administration, running on all cylinders and with happy campers?

Easy to bow out, with a deal like this:
