You can dislike Al Gore, Greta Thunberg, climate activists, taxpayer-funded subsidies and international aid without any of that constituting evidence that climate change is a “scam.” A bad prediction, an exaggerated headline or an activist changing political priorities does not alter temperature records, ocean heat or rising sea levels, while China and India continuing to burn coal is hardly proof that they think climate change is imaginary as they are both simultaneously investing heavily in renewable energy because they clearly recognise the problem, even if their response is inadequate. The real debate is not whether every politician or activist has ever been wrong, but whether the underlying science has broadly held up—and after decades of observation, dismissing it all with “we'll see in ten years” increasingly seems to be that you are ignoring the evidence already seen.
