webfact
Northern and northeastern regions to stay cold until Dec 16 The North and the Northeast of Thailand will remain cold with strong wind for another period from December 11-16 due to a moderate cold front from China which is spreading across the two regions, reported the Meteorological Department on Monday. The cold front will strengthen the northeastern monsoon which is looming over the southern region and the Gulf, causing continuous rain in the southern region, with isolated heavy rain in certain areas. Temperatures in the northern provinces of Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Lamphun, Tak, Phitsanulok and Petchabun from today until 6 am on Tuesday are forecast at 19-23 degrees Celsius at minimum and 29-32 degrees Celsius at maximum. Thunder26
So minimum of 19 degrees for Northern Thailand at night is cold. You must be joking. Thai weathermen should stop using the word cold and adjust their vocabulary according to international weather standards. So far this winter hasn't seen a proper cool spell. As long as temperatures don't drop below 20 in central regions of Thailand I can't call it cold or winter, even for Thai weather standards. Jeremy50
Another of those nonsense weather reports that some idiot flings out just for the hell of it, because it's about the time of year when there might be cooler temperatures. 30+ in Udon today, and now a warm night. Stupid.
