The Thai police are going after a group of motorcycle street racers who have posted pictures of themselves with their machines.

The difference being that the riders posing with their steeds and butt naked.

They are just using their helmets to cover their private parts.

Sanook called it a weird trend.

While RTP spokesman Pol Col Krissana Patanacharoen warned the miscreants they could face 5,000 baht fines for offending public morals or worse.

There are fines of 100,000 baht and 5 year jail terms for disseminating such images on the internet.

Police are investigating as a matter of urgency, added Sanook.

5,000.... no clothes but genitals covered. Can see similar to this a million times a day, even in basic advertising, video of normal folks on the beach etc.

What's the fine for street racing and putting other law abiding good drivers and their families in danger?

500 - 1,000?

In other words fines in regard to safety and danger are less serious than photos with no clothes but genitals covered deserves much higher penalties.

It's all way out of balance.

Hiding a ' policeman's helmet' must be an offence. ( humour for old Brits only)

That's enough TVF for today ....

Its only 5 years for posting your dick pic longer for 7 inches and above a 10 stretch is just not worth it for me????

Its taken four years for them to show their distaste for the people in power, just let it hang out.

So, why has the guy on the right got his helmet (no pun intended) blurred-out?  I assume there must be an advert for alcohol or cigarettes on it.

That person looks like a heavily pregnant woman to me.

What a picture that spoils my wonderful weekend ahead!

I could post one of me and spoil the rest of your life (unless you get therapy)

This is way too extreme if left unpunished and shamed in public as membrane for others here in Thailand and else where.

We humans share values and everyone is entitled what ever want to do in their properties.

But public nudity and sex is a wrong or bad act, if those half human half animals don't get the most sever punishment available we will see worse.

So, please deliver this message and hopefully they will be imprisoned and fined 100K. Also, deportation after that.

What a waste of time and resources.

Well, that means that there is nothing irregular in Patpong these days. There they used to work without helmets and gadgets but plenty of toys and tools ...

I'd be very skeptical if I see a "lady" covering the crotch up with a helmet.

Somethings just can't be un-seen... why did I open this post !!!

Might be a bit sad though if one of the miscreants fell off and erased his helmet on the road.

They are certainly idiots, but you can get in at least as much trouble for posting a picture of a sleeping policeman, as evidenced by a television news story about a Facebook poster who is facing the full force of the "law". It's never a good idea to make the BIB look bad. Defamation is dangerous unless it's a farang who is being defamed. ????
