Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital on Wednesday for general physical checkup, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced Wednesday.

 

The Queen will remain at the hospital until Friday, said the bureau.

Queen Sirikit to receive medical check

HM Queen Sirikit, the mother of the current monarch, will receive a general physical check-up at the Chulalongkorn Hospital between Wednesday and Friday, the Royal Household Bureau announced.
 

The queen is 86 years old. Her royal spouse, HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, reigned in Thailand for seven decades until his passing in 2016.
