I was an itinerant logger, pretty much a bum on de tramp an' useta get boddils ob fortified wine an' sit out on de docks ob Ketchikan when between jobs...dere was another bum widda copy ob James Joyce's Ulysses...I passed de boddil and said how can ye read dat stuff...he makes up de language as he goes along...he said dere is a method to de madness... two bums discussin' literature on de dock in SE Alaska...
