visa run

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if you can still make a vise run to Ban Pue Ron Kanchanaburi? Have a double entry 60 day visa from Canada. Thanks in advance for any information.

Yes you can. Cost changes but currently just under 1000 baht to go into Burma and return.

How did you get a double-entry visa?

sorry my mistake 120 day double entry.

Double entry tourist visas have not been issued for a good while !

Suggest you post a picture of what you actually have.

Could you let all others on a setv or METV where you obtained 120 day double entry.

If you have an unexpired multiple entry visa of some description, you will be able to do a border bounce at Ban Phu Nam Ron to get a fresh permission to stay (60 days or 90 days depending on whether it is a tourist visa or non immigrant visa). As others have suggested, it would be best to post a scan of the visa so we can check the visa type, expiry date and number of entries for you.

I've never heard of such a visa.

I'm guessing you have a 6 month metv visa, but if it's new please tell us more details.

It's a tourist visa with two entries from Canada, not mine so I can't show it. So 60 and 60 days they are here for 120 days. So sorry about the confusion but I had to look at it and just got home that's why the delay.

Is it a Thai visa?

yes it  is.

Hello Habs, what letter was there under the 'No of entries' on the visa sticker?

Is the visa validity three months or six months (i.e. is the Enter before date three months or six months after the date the visa was issued)?

Anyone think the proposed temporary two entries for the price of a single entry tourist visa might actually have been introduced at the Thai embassy in Canada? It seems unlikely, but there are no current visas that normally come with "Number of entries: 2".

Ok finally got it sorted out they were looking at an old visa which had 2 entries on it , so it is a tourist visa with M so multiple entry 250.00 Canadian. They are here for 120 days which the first 60 is up on the Jan 4/19 so that,s why the visa run. Sorry for all the confusion.
